Welcome to Northwoods Family Eyecare in San Antonio, TX

Our optometrist, Dr. Wallace, is therapeutic certified. We specialize in routine eye care, contact lens and gas permeable fittings, bifocal contact lens fittings, and keratoconus fittings. We work closely with TLC in co-managing Lasik procedures, which includes pre- and post-op care.

Dr. Melodie Wallace was born in Houston, Texas. She attended Trinity University and received her bachelor’s degree in Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1985 from the University of Houston College of Optometry. After graduation, she worked in the Houston area until she moved to San Antonio in 1998.

Annual Comprehensive Exam:

Contact lenses:

Your corneas will be examined to ensure that they are healthy enough for wearing contact lenses, and notes of the condition of your eyes will be made to refer back to.

LASIK Co-Management:

Are you interested in having Lasik? Our doctor provide thorough consultation to determine if you are qualified for the Lasik procedure.
